From words to artwork.

  1. On your phone, use the bottom categories: Shapes adds editable vector elements; Text edits or adds lettering; Photo uploads artwork; Backdrop changes the canvas; Save opens drafts and exports. The tool row above those categories follows the selected item. Swipe it sideways for all tools. Tap Curve, Size, Outline or another tool to open focused controls below the canvas. Tap ✓ Done or the back arrow to return to the full canvas. The tools occupy their own area and stay clear of the artwork. Select a word, photo or shape by tapping the canvas or its button in the Select strip. The top Layers button opens layer selection, ordering and locks. One finger moves the selected item; pinch changes its size and twist rotates it. Use View for canvas zoom, Fit and gesture options.
  2. Tap Photo to add a photograph or transparent design. Drag it, crop it, and put lettering inside it or around it.
  3. Pick a real font from the collection. Star your favorites.
  4. Use Effects → Texture to distress the selected word or photo, or turn on Halftone and slide its level and dot size. Transparent gaps remain open in PNG and SVG downloads. Use Effects → Outline for very thick borders, including a second border. Effects → 18 looks applies chrome, gold, neon, sticker and other finishes. Backdrop → Canvas background switches between alpha transparency and any color. Backdrop → Remove image color includes an eyedropper. Tap it, then tap or drag over the photo and press Remove. All matching color removes that color everywhere, including inside the design. Connected background only removes the area touching the picked spot and preserves isolated matching details. Tolerance and edge controls refine the removal. Use Shape, Color and Effects to curve, wave, stretch, outline or add a gradient. Advanced controls adjust a single letter.
  5. Add lines with +. Drag a line on the canvas to position it. Drag the corner handle to resize; drag the top handle to rotate.
  6. Tap the item on the canvas and use Replace or Delete. Replace photo keeps its size, position, crop and layer order. Replace font keeps your words and styling. Back undoes your previous action; Redo reapplies it. Deleting the last text line leaves a clean canvas for new lettering or a photo-only design. Tap Save Draft to keep the complete composition. Tap Download for a high-DPI PNG, an SVG, or an editable project backup.

Choose Gangster font for Old English, tattoo blackletter, cholo-style block and graffiti lettering. Basic fonts contains typewriter fonts, ordinary blocks, sans serif, serif and other everyday styles. Previews and canvas use the same real font outlines. The new Plain Black family, English Towne and Anglican Text provide similar styles to your alphabet pictures; they are not verified exact originals. The ornate number sheet and Santiago Diser alphabet have not been identified as downloadable digital fonts. Earlier studio fonts stay available in saved projects. Choose a category before importing a TTF, OTF or WOFF font file. Imported fonts and saved designs stay in this browser. Download a project file for a backup.

For a connected script, start with zero spacing and no curve. Curving or moving individual letters separates the connected strokes.
